Care and Maintenance
The Cross Project
Dust regularly to keep your artwork looking its best.
If needed, deep clean with a damp, lint-free cloth following the grain of the wood. Be careful not to soak your artwork or allow water to sit on the surface. The wood is porous, and too much water may cause damage.
All cleaners, even mild ones, leave residue that can harm your artwork if not thoroughly removed. A clean, damp cloth is usually sufficient.
Direct sunlight may cause fading over time.
Gratitude and Giving Back

Values and Commitments
We choose our methods and materials based on two simple goals: to take good care of each other, and to take good care of the planet we share.
We work toward those goals by:
Cultivating and protecting a community of belonging for our customers, friends, and followers.
Using natural materials whenever possible.
Collaborating with artists and craftspeople and compensating them fairly for their efforts.
Crafting quality pieces designed to last a lifetime.
Partnering with companies who share our values of inclusion, equity, and mutual respect.
Manufacturing locally whenever possible to support our immediate community.
Listening actively to feedback, adjusting when needed, and striving at all times to move with integrity and transparency.
Honoring traditional craft techniques and slow production practices.
Contributing a portion of each sale to communities that have historically been “othered,”oppressed, or systemically under-resourced.
Affiliations
We are not tied to any religious institutions—our work lives outside the lines. It’s made for the seekers, the questioners, and the ones rewriting what faith can feel like.
